Yacht Club Manager offers four distinct user roles designed to support various responsibilities within your club. This guide outlines each role available within the application, including specific capabilities and access levels.
Most of your members will utilize the role of End User/Member. This role has limited access to certain pages and access.

Site - Super Admin
- Access Level: Complete access to all features and settings across the site.
- Capabilities:
- Configure site-wide settings and manage overall application features.
- Grant administrative privileges to other users.
- Note: This is typically the main site owner role, although multiple users can be assigned as Super Admins for full access and control.

Site - Member Admin
- Access Level: Manages user accounts but limited to certain admin functions.
- Capabilities:
- Edit, update, and create user accounts (but cannot assign users to moorage slips).
- Communicate with users via email.
- Can assign new users to waiting lists on join date.
- Can assign admin privileges (either Member Admin or Maps/Lists Admin roles). To other users.
- Add and update events on the event calendar.
- Restrictions: Does not have access to configuration settings.

Site - Maps/Lists Admin
- Access Level: Focused on managing moorage assignments.
- Capabilities:
- Assign members to moorage slips and manage waiting lists.
- Communicate with users via email.
- Add and update events on the event calendar.
- Restrictions: Cannot create new users or edit user accounts. Does not have access to configuration settings.

End User/Member
- Access Level: Basic membership access.
- Capabilities:
- View and update their profile details.
- Access essential club documents, member directory*, Board & Committee information, Moorage Maps & Waiting Lists, Classifieds, and the Events page.
- Note: This role is assigned to all members.
Account Auditing
To maintain security and efficiency, clubs should:
- Conduct periodic audits of user roles and permissions.
- Limit administrative roles to essential personnel only.
- Regularly update access based on member status and board or committee roles.
Customization
*During the implementation certain pages such as the membership directory can be set so they are only visible to administrators.
